Annette is a lifelong West Newton resident. She has always enjoyed reading, writing, and languages. She taught ESL to adults for a number of years before having kids. When her younger child started kindergarten, she went back to work, teaching preschool. She love seeing the world through her preschoolers’ eyes – "It’s a magical, exciting place!"
Clara Silverstein is the author of the poetry collection "Above the Fall Line” (Finishing Line Press) and six additional books. Her poems have appeared in journals including Blackbird, the Paterson Literary Review, the Naugatuck River Review, and at Boston City Hall. She has worked as a journalist and an historian, and now teaches at Grub Street and participates in the Poetry Round Table workshop.
